Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy

Our Services are subscription-based digital products (vCards, mini-websites, and related features). Because access is granted immediately after purchase, all payments are generally non-refundable, except as required by law.


2. Free Trial Period

  • We offer free trial periods (7–14 days depending on the Plan) so you can evaluate our Services before committing to a paid subscription.
  • Once the trial period ends and a subscription is activated, standard billing terms apply.


3. Subscription Cancellations

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard.
  • Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • You will continue to have access until that date.
  • Cancelling does not trigger a refund for fees already paid, unless required by law.


4. Refunds

Refunds will only be considered in the following limited circumstances:


  1. Duplicate charges due to a technical or billing error.
  2. Service failure on our part that prevents you from accessing the platform for a prolonged period (more than 72 consecutive hours).
  3. Where required under applicable Kenyan consumer protection law.


All refund requests must be submitted in writing to customercate@my-business.co.ke within 14 days of the billing date. Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method (e.g., M-Pesa, credit/debit card).


5. Non-Refundable Situations

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Partial use of the Services (e.g., unused days in a subscription).
  • Incompatibility with third-party tools or browsers not supported by us.
  • Termination of account due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.


6. Plan Downgrades & Upgrades

  • Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher plan, charges are adjusted immediately, and the new plan becomes active right away.
  • Downgrades: When downgrading to a lower plan, the change will apply at the next billing cycle. No partial refunds are given for the difference.
